OmerChallenge: Day 37

Today is thirty-seven days which are five weeks and two days in the Omer.

This place almost made it into my “dream house” post. The South Euclid branch of the Cuyahoga Count Public Library system is the library that I grew up in. Almost literally (well, at least it’s where I became literate).

Once a private mansion – built to be the dream home of William Telling, it changed hands several times after Telling died in 1938 leaving huge debts. Eventually it was purchased by the library system in 1951 for $82,000 – a fraction of the $700,000 it originally cost to build.
